Rohit Satish is a Postdoctoral researcher at Robert Kostecki's Lab @ Energy Storage and Distributed Resources division in Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research interests are alligned towards understanding and developing high enery cathode materials for Li ion battery applcaitions. At the Berkeley Lab, he is part of a team investigating the application of next gen disordered rock salt based Li rich cathodes, with potentially double the energy density as compared to current materials in circulation. Previously he was the Principal Scientist at a supercpacitor based startup in Singapore called Involt. He did his PhD and first postdoc at the School of Materials Science and Engineeering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. With the focus of his studies being to develop robust operando measurement techniques for Li ion battery analysis.
