Electrochem Seminar - High Energy Density Electrodes via Modifications to the Inactive Components and Processing Conditions

Abstract

High loading, composite battery electrodes do not function with carbon additive and polymer binder.  However, these two components lead to increased volume and an impediment to ion transport. The purpose of this work is to understand the effect electrode processing conditions have on the final configuration of the constituents and how to manipulate the processing conditions to maximize performance and energy density.  Today, I will give a summary of my AMR presentation.
